New Technology Platform for Cell Therapy Supply Chain Management

Be The Match BioTherapies® has launched a new, implementation-ready technology platform for cell and gene therapies in clinical development or poised for commercialization. MatchSourceSM is an ordering, tracking, and delivery software for cell and gene therapies that was custom designed based on software used by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP)/Be The Match®.

NMDP/Be The Match began developing technology platforms to manage the collection and delivery of allogeneic stem cells to patients more than 20 years ago, and has continually enhanced its software with new innovations that incorporate customer feedback. Today, the company’s software platforms support approximately 6,200 stem cell transplants and 22,000 cell and blood shipments annually.

MatchSource reduces implementation risk for companies developing and delivering new cell and gene therapies, such as CAR T-cell therapies. It was built to provide critical end-to-end visibility for all stakeholders, and enables patient case management models to support highly personalized cell supply chains. MatchSource is also available to support the needs of companies developing allogeneic cell and gene therapies, including customized modeling and search algorithms, cell collections, and the delivery of donor cells for manufacture. De Novo Genome Assembly Pipeline
Bluebee and Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. have integrated the PacBio® de novo assembly pipeline onto the Bluebee® genomics analysis platform. The integration creates a simplified workflow and fully automated, end-to-end data analysis solution that allows assembly of any size genome, including the human genome. Bluebee's platform provides a user-friendly environment that does not require specialized bioinformatics knowledge. Since parameters can be adjusted within the platform, users can redefine the pipeline, creating a starting point for further developments and optimizations to fit the purpose of specific use cases.
Bluebee® genomics analysis platform
The Bluebee platform employs a multi-layered data security approach to ensure an environment that covers the strictest of security controls. Data centers are compliant with all applicable security and regulatory standards. For more information, please visit
