HeLa cell spheroids were generated in a Nuclon™ Sphera 90 mm dish, transferred to 35 mm glass-bottom dishes from Nunc™, and imaged by confocal microscopy. Spheroids were stained with a Live/Dead® Cell Imaging Kit 488/570 from Molecular Probes® and imaged by confocal microscopy. Live cells appear green, whereas cells with damaged cell membranes are stained red. In this image cell damage had been induced by treatment with 10 µm Niclosamide for 24 h at 37°C prior to imaging.
