Cell Counting Made Easy
Perfect for large to small scale applications, the Vi-CELL XR Cell Viability Analyzer automates the widely accepted trypan blue dye exclusion method for cell viability that has historically been performed manually with a light microscope, pipette, and a hemacytometer.

Thanks to cutting-edge liquid handling technology, the entire system — from sample aspiration to reagent handling to instrument cleaning — is fully controlled by an advanced, yet easy-to-use software interface designed for maximum flexibility.
To support a cGMP environment Beckman Coulter offers an Instrument Operational Qualification Program. This program is designed to reduce your time and effort spent on complying with equipment guidelines in GMP.

FDA-Licensed Rapid Endotoxin Detection Kit
Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC) is pleased to introduce a new, FDA-licensed version of their rapid endotoxin detection kit, Pyrosate®. Pyrosate is well-suited for performing endotoxin assays in full compliance with the Bacterial Endotoxins Test, USP Chapter ‹85›. The Pyrosate kit is available in sensitivities of 0.03, 0.125, and 0.25 EU/mL, in both 10- and 30-pack formats.

Pyrosate has been developed as an easy-to-use Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) gel-clot test that enables rapid testing and does not require special laboratory supplies. The easy-to-follow, step-by-step, illustrated instructions allow the user to set up assays within minutes.

Single-Use Production-Scale Protein A Chromatography Columns
W. R. Grace & Co. has introduced ProVance™ prepacked chromatography columns for single use. Packed with Grace® incompressible Protein A resin and available in a range of sizes, these columns are designed for production-scale GMP purification of monoclonal antibodies.

The high-capacity columns can reduce operating costs by 40–60% and are ideally suited for single-batch or single-campaign use, eliminating the need for significant cleaning validations and long-term storage. The pre-packed, disposable columns further improve biopharmaceutical productivity by lowering the risk of contamination and accelerating time to market.
