Cell Counting Made Easy
Perfect for large to small scale applications, the Vi-CELL XR Cell Viability Analyzer automates the widely accepted trypan blue dye exclusion method for cell viability that has historically been performed manually with a light microscope, pipette, and a hemacytometer.

Thanks to cutting-edge liquid handling technology, the entire system — from sample aspiration to reagent handling to instrument cleaning — is fully controlled by an advanced, yet easy-to-use software interface designed for maximum flexibility.
To support a cGMP environment Beckman Coulter offers an Instrument Operational Qualification Program. This program is designed to reduce your time and effort spent on complying with equipment guidelines in GMP.

New-Generation Single-Use Bags for All Steps of Biopharmaceutical Production

For more information, please visit
sartorius-stedim.com
Sartorius Stedim Biotech is introducing a brand-new, scalable range of single-use bags, the Flexsafe family of products. Flexsafe enables single-use bioprocessing throughout all steps of biopharmaceutical manufacture, from process development to production, in upstream and downstream — all using just one innovative polyethylene film. Flexsafe ensures excellent and reproducible cell growth behavior of the most sensitive cell lines.

Flexsafe is based on a multilayer, proprietary polyethylene (PE) film called S80, and has been developed in close collaboration with resin and film suppliers. A standardized cell growth assay has been used to optimize film formulation, determine the operating ranges for extrusion, welding, and gamma-irradiation processes, and to establish specifications and process controls.
Single-Use Hose Tail to Tri-Clamp Adapters
BioPure, a Watson-Marlow Pumps Group company, specializes in single-use bioprocessing components for end-users and OEMs, including its range of BioBarb® hose tail to tri-clamp adapters. Fully traceable with molded-in production lot and size identification, BioBarb adapters are manufactured and packaged in an ISO class 7 clean room using DMF-listed polypropylene that is compliant with USP Class VI and European Pharmacopeia.

Designed to emulate the full bore diameter of a molded connection at a fraction of the cost for single-use, BioBarb delivers an unimpeded flow path with smooth transition from tube to adaptor, reducing turbulence, entrapment, and allowing complete drainage.
