Robotic Pipetting Workstation
Hamilton Robotics has launched the Microlab® NIMBUS384™, a compact, multi-channel liquid handler that offers fast liquid transfers, superior accuracy, and precision pipetting. The unique 384 50 µL, air-displacement, multi-probe heads allow users to pipette in 384, 96, quadrant, column, row, and single-tip formats.

The NIMBUS384 has an ultra-flat deck with 11- and 12- positions, which allows for tip stacking and 1,536 pipetting automation for speedy workflow. The precise and highly accurate air dispensing multi-probe head has a dynamic pipetting range of 0.5─50 µL. NIMBUS workstations come with tip and waste stations. Options include: a locking enclosure, a labware gripper for on- and off-deck plate and tip movement, heating, shaking, cooling, and vacuum positions.

The Microlab NIMBUS software offers a range of unique features with two programming methods: vector-based and wizard-driven graphical user interface. Both are 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and feature: wordlist importing and exporting, error handling, scheduling, integrated third-party device control, automated deck layouts, tip counting, and 3D viewing.

1.8 µm UHPLC Columns
AkzoNobel's Kromasil ultra high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) columns with 1.8 µm particles are the latest chromatography advancement from AkzoNobel. Designed for use in laboratories, Kromasil's patented silica technology provides exceptional resolution with decreased turnaround time and minimized laboratory costs.
UHPLC columns with Kromasil 1.8 µm particles are compatible with all UHPLC and UPLC® instruments. These columns are based on very narrow specification ranges for high selectivity, resolution, and reproducibility. Kromasil columns with 1.8 µm particles are targeted for a wide variety of reversed-phase applications including method development for biopharmaceutical products. Methods with C18, C8, and C4 derivatizations can be seamlessly transferred to HPLC, and can also be used for the purification of small, medium, and large quantities of compounds.

Aptamer Kits for Cell Isolation and Flow Cytometry
AptoPrep™ cell isolation kits from AMSBIO combine the specificity of aptamers to target cells with the convenience of isolation/elution of a particular cell from complex cell samples. AptoPrep kits can deliver positive isolation in as little as 30 minutes. The unique and mild cell-releasing technology allows you to isolate bead- and aptamer-free cells in about one hour.

By incorporating the bifunctional aptamer labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and biotin, AptoPrep helps you perform cell isolation and flow cytometry analyses simultaneously, further improving productivity. Supplied as a complete kit (biotinylated aptamer, streptavidin [a tetrameric protein] magnetic bead, and buffers), AMSBIO’s AptoPrep cell isolation products deliver outstanding convenience, increased consistency, and excellent reliability.
