Delivers Greater Insight and Analysis for Biomass Measurement


The FUTURA range of Biomass Monitors measures the live cell concentration by radio-frequency impedance and combined with FUTURA SCADA software, additional cell parameters can be monitored in real time.  One of these parameters, the critical frequency, has been recently shown to correlate with product titre.   

There are three versions of this instrument allowing use on conventional, mini, and disposable bioreactors together with an innovative hub system for multiple bioreactors.

The FUTURA has all the biomass monitoring processing power contained within its compact housing, and no bulky transmitter is required. The flexible bus connectivity of the FUTURA allows multiple units to be easily connected to a PC, bioreactor controller, and SCADA via a simple hub system, thus reducing the overall costs of a complex system. If a local display is required, then the FUTURA can be provided with a colour, touch screen PLC that can be panel mounted or have its own IP67 stainless enclosure.
